Aukera is promoting the development of Tasway Energy Park, a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) in South Norfolk, comprising of a large-scale solar array with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as well as associated infrastructure including cabling and onsite substation(s). The generating capacity of Tasway Energy Park will be up to 700 MW.
The proposals have now progressed to phase 1 consultation, and we are seeking feedback on the emerging plans. We have developed initial proposals for key elements of the project, including indicative cabling routes, potential substation locations, and early considerations for biodiversity and design. These remain subject to change and will be refined following this consultation. For more information on the phase 1 consultation please click here .
This project website will continue to be updated with new information as the planning process moves forward, including details of future consultation events. You can view the site location, learn more about the proposals, and find answers to common questions in our FAQ section.
You can also sign up for updates on the project or contact us directly with any questions or comments. We welcome your feedback and will be pleased to assist wherever possible.
